Further League Update

Other than the information currently being supplied and circulated by the ECB, we have no update as to when the current restrictions on recreational cricket may be lifted. As previously advised, our current thinking is for a full season to start at the end of April as per our published fixtures. However, we are looking at other options in the event that Government restrictions dictate otherwise. Our prime responsibility continues the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved.
It would be unhelpful to share these options at the moment as it is impossible to plan for something when we don't know what that something is going to be.
As discussed at the AGM, we are looking at holding meetings via ‘zoom’ towards the end of February to discuss plans and ideas for the future. Hopefully by this point we may have a clearer view of what the 2021 season might look like.
