Erin Thomas In England U19 Squad

Congratulations to Drax all-rounder Erin Thomas who has been selected as part of the England U19 squad to tour Sri Lanka in late March, where they will play a mixture of 50-over and T20 cricket. 

 

It will form part of the preparations for next January’s second Under 19s T20 World Cup in Malaysia. 

Thomas caught the eye last July at the Regional Academy Festival at Millfield School in Taunton, where she was the event’s leading run-scorer with 139 runs. 

 

Drax Cricket Club Secretary Keith Powell said ''while this is fabulous for drax it is also fabulous for the YPLN as they will have another international cricketer playing in a top league Just shows how players are being developed by this league so thanks to you all for the work that's done. ''
