Women & Girls Cricket is thriving at Copmanthorpe! 

Our women’s soft ball squad now has around 15 players aged 12–50, currently competing in the indoor league at Queen Ethelburga’s. We can’t wait to get outside again for more friendlies and festivals this summer. 

 

Our U9 girls were fantastic last season in the York Junior League, finishing with TWO all‑girls teams taking on Wheldrake’s mixed sides. They’ve been training hard all winter and are ready for another brilliant season. 

 

So proud of how our women’s and girls’ cricket is growing — and it all starts with our amazing All Stars where around a third are girls. The future is bright at Copmanthorpe.
