YPLN Cup Competition Update

The Covid situation has meant us having to have a re-think about this season’s cup competitions. Here is an update of where things stand at the moment:
ECB Premier League Viking Cup:
Now at the Quarter-Final stage with three teams from YPLN still in the competition, Driffield, Sheriff Hutton Bridge and Woodhouse Grange. The Final is on Sept 5th at a venue to be decided.
ECB YPLN T20 Blast Competition:
This has had to be re-configured as a straight knockout and is also at the Quarter-Final stage. The Final is at York Cricket Club on Sunday 25th July with a 3:00pm start.
ECB YPLN U19 T20 Blast Competition:
At the Semi-Final stage. The Final is also at York Cricket Club on Sunday 25th July with a 10:30am start.
Hunter’s Cup:
Semi-Finals are on Sunday 25th July with 1:00pm starts, Harrogate II v Beverley Town and Hull Zingari v Carlton Towers. The Final is on 22nd August at Scarborough.
Edward Readman Trophy, Dave Conner Trophy:
These competitions are both well under way, but, because of Covid it is not possible to hold the usual Finals Day with two Semi-Finals and then a Final. Instead, both Finals will be held at Beverley Town CC on Sunday 15th August with the Conner Final starting at 10:30am and the Readman Final starting at 3:00pm.
