Umpires Required

It is that time of year again when the League is trying to recruit new umpires for the League Panel which operates in the Premier & First Divisions. Clubs who have to provide ‘club umpires’ in the lower divisions are also keen to get new umpires trained up.
There will not be the usual umpire training course this winter, we are not allowed to run any due to Covid-19. As an alternative, ECB ACO have developed a self-learning on-line version of the Stage One course which is where potential umpires should be starting. It is completely free and be accessed by following this link;
A 'blended learning' version of the Stage Two course - which prospective panel umpires also ought to do - is also available to those who complete the Stage One. This is part self-learning on-line and part tutored in short (1 - 1.5 hrs) video link sessions using an on-line platform.
