ATTIS ECB Yorkshire Premier League North
We are delighted to confirm that two ‘women’s and girls’ cricket leagues have joined up with Attis ECB Yorkshire Premier League North, and will compete under their own names as part of YPLN. Both the Scarborough & Ryedale Womens League and the North & East Yorkshire Womens League see the amalgamations as a positive move to help grow their leagues by using the YPLN administration resource along with potential access to help more clubs who are just starting to create womens & girls sections in the fastest growing area of cricket.

The majority of member clubs in both leagues are already current members of YPLN so are not new to our ECB Premier League with the others being more than welcome. For everyone it’s a ‘win win’ situation as it brings together more ‘pooling’ of administration resources but arguably more importantly a greater opportunity to grow the game.

Scarborough & Ryedale WCL Chair Bev Nicholson said that ‘’by using some of the YPLN administration services it allows us to focus on growing the women and girls game without being concerned about much of the paperwork that mostly goes unseen’’.
