Stu Hilton

It’s with great sadness that Cottingham Cricket Club have to announce that Stu Hilton tragically passed away while playing for Cottingham CC at Hornsea CC on Saturday 11th May 2024. 

 

Stu has been a long-standing member of the club and has been a mainstay of local cricket in East Yorkshire for many years. Those who played with or against Stu would know what a character he was while on the field 

or reflecting on the game afterwards. 

 

Along with Stu’s family, all at CCC will be holding a minute's silence before their games are played this weekend. It is hoped that all clubs across the league join us this weekend in remembering a fellow member of the cricketing family who sadly passed playing the game he loved.
