Dunnington Cricket club are very sad to announce the passing of club stalwart and Life Member Pat Wood after courageously battling illness
Pat "Woody" was a prolific opening batsman and prized wicket in the 60s 70s and 80s with 17 Senior League tons 12 in the top division.
His best year was 1976 with 802 runs at an average of 40.10
In his more than 50 years association with the club he was also Chairman, Umpire and latterly groundsman
He will be sadly missed by all at the club and the cricketing family
