HUNTERS ECB Yorkshire Premier League North
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Nigel Fowler after a period of ill health.

Nigel was the oldest surviving player at Woodhouse Grange who had many memories of the early years of the club and establishing a formidable reputation in local League & Cup cricket competitions in the York and District Senior Cricket League.

Nigel’s family wish to hold a private funeral in his memory with only family and invited close friends in attendance.

They recognise, though, that many other people, particularly at Woodhouse Grange and the wider cricketing community in general, will wish to pay their respects too. To that end, they propose to arrange a wake and ‘ashes spreading’ ceremony at Woodhouse in the near future when everyone who knew him will be welcome to celebrate his life and his passion.
