As a player, Nick has established himself as one of the finest all-rounders to grace the Yorkshire Premier League North. An elegant and accomplished batsman, renowned for his effortless timing, he has consistently produced match-winning performances. With the ball, his skilful seam and subtle away swing have troubled batsmen across the league, while his fierce competitiveness and inspirational leadership have made him one of the competition's most respected captains.

Away from the field, Nick's contribution has been every bit as significant. Since becoming Club Secretary in 2006, he has played a pivotal role in the continued development of York Cricket Club. Through his vision, dedication and tireless work, the club's facilities have been transformed, while his leadership has been instrumental in establishing Clifton Park as one of Yorkshire's premier venues, regularly hosting Yorkshire County Cricket Club fixtures to the highest standard.
Nick's commitment, professionalism and passion have left an enduring mark not only on York Cricket Club but on cricket across the Yorkshire Premier League North. He embodies the values of excellence, service and sportsmanship that define the very best of the game.
While teammates have affectionately nicknamed him "Special Kay," there is nothing ordinary about his contribution. It is a title earned through years of outstanding performances, unwavering dedication and exceptional service.
