Dunnington Cricket Club beat Heworth Cricket Club (HCC) in the Hundred thanks to a rapid-fire
125 from Irosh Samarasooriya, and will face Osbaldwick Cricket Club in the quarter-finals.
In the Division 1 Readman Trophy, Hull Zingari Cricket Club 2s beat Middleton and North Dalton Cricket Club and New Earswick Cricket Club beat Ovington Cricket Club thanks to a 62 from Ryan Pembroke.
The Division 2 Dave Conner Trophy saw Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club 3s overcome Rufforth & Marston Cricket Club thanks to an opening knock of 55 from Lewis Ainley. However, in the Wilberfoss Cup Woodhouse Grange 4s didn't fare as well, making the long journey to Forge Valley but being limited to 87 runs and beaten. As a result, Forge Valley CC become the first former Scarborough Beckett League club to reach a YPLN cup final and we look forward to seeing them at the final on 3rd August at Pickering Cricket Club CC.
In the U19 T20 Blast, both semi-finals were played. Beverley Town Cricket Club defeated Driffield Town Cricket Club thanks to 36 runs from Charlie Richardson and 30 from Will Britt, among others. In the other semi-final, Harrogate Cricket Club set a good target of 148 thanks to 51s from Max Sowray and A Macrae (both retired not out), but were restricted by a brilliant 5-12 from Clifton Alliance's Josh Tynan. Clifton reached their target in 16.3 overs thanks to 53s (rtno) from Josh Tynan and George Breheny. Beverley and Clifton Alliance will meet at the final on 10th August at Bilton in Ainsty CC CC.
