On a very cold, but dry day Sheffield Collegiate won the toss and elected to field

Joshua Varley took 3 wickets for 53 
Shaaiq Choudhry took 3 wickets for 34 
 
In reply Sheffield Colleagiate made 253 for 5 which included:

Abdul Faseeh 67 of 62 balls 
Shaaiq Choudhry 33 of 38 balls 
 
David Wainwright took 3 wickets for 46 
Eddie Morrison took 1 wicket for 64 
Connor Hyde took 1 wicket for 42 
Matthew Rees bowled a miserly 8 overs for 21 runs 
 
Man of the match was Chesney Hughes with a truly impressive knock, loosing several balls in the process! 
Sheffield Collegiate played a brilliant innings to get close but ultimately fell short 
 
It was a wonderful game played in great spirit, a credit to the two leagues.
