EDI PROCESS
The YPLN EDI committee has initiated a whistle blower channel/hotline for all Anti-discrimination related issues or concerns. All clubs are requested to have an EDI representative (which can be the safeguarding officer). Club members can contact their club EDI representative as the first point of contact who can take it with the league EDI committee. In addition to it, in case if there are any confidentiality concerns, club members can directly contact the EDI group through our email id edi@yplncricket.co.uk. Please ensure that your EDI related concerns are only sent to the above email address and all other complaints
/protests can follow the existing disciplinary process as detailed in section 13 in management rules.
All EDI related concerns will be considered by the panel put together by the management board. EDI panel will conduct a thorough investigation upon receiving the concern and the communication will be made to the concerned member in a timely manner as per the below process: -
1 • Case received in EDI Mail box
2 • Investigation initiated involing all partied involved (to commence within 2 weeks)
3 • EDI Panel hearing to review the case
4 • Communciation sent to the concerned member (within 4 weeks of receiving the concern)
5 • Final review of the case (liasing with the league board): Actions/ Fines/ Penalty
6 • Case Closure : Option for Appeal (within 8 weeks from the date of receiving
Penalties will be decided by the Disciplinary committee after the detailed investigation which can vary from warnings to indefinite suspension of the member/club from the YPLN league.
