ADMINISTRATION PENALTIES - MATCH PROTOCOLS & SUBMISSIONS
MATCH RESULTS:
Applicable to: All divisions & cup competitions.
All home teams are responsible for submitting the result via play-cricket by 9.30pm on the day of the match. If the match is on a neutral ground (cup final etc) the submitting of the match result will be the responsibility of the winning side.
Penalties for failure to meet deadline:
£25 for failure to meet the deadline without good reason.
SUBMISSION OF CAPTAINS MARKS:
Applicable to: ECB Premier Division & relevant cup competitions
Clubs and teams are required to ensure that the marking of grounds and umpires via ‘Who’s the umpire’ is undertaken by the team captain or a responsible person using the appropriate guidelines by 17.00 on the Tuesday following the match.
Penalties for failure to meet deadline:
£50 penalty
Deduction of 1 League point
SUBMISSION OF CAPTAINS MARKS:
Applicable to: ECB Premier II and below
Clubs and teams are required to ensure that the marking of grounds and umpires (where appropriate) via play-cricket is undertaken by the team captain or a responsible person using the appropriate guidelines by 17.00 on the Tuesday following the match.
Penalties for failure to meet deadline:
£25 for failure to meet the deadline without good reason.
SUBMISSION OF SCORECARDS:
Applicable to: ECB Premier, Premier II & Championship (including related Cup competitions)
All home teams are responsible for uploading a fully completed and correct scorecard by 9.30pm on the day of the match. If the match is on a neutral ground [cup final etc] the submitting of the match result will be the responsibility of the winning side.
Penalties for failure to meet deadline:
£50 per offence.
SUBMISSION OF SCORECARDS:
Applicable to: First Division & below and all relevant cup competitions
Home teams are responsible for submitting full detailed scorecard onto play-cricket by 9.30pm on the Tuesday following the match. If the match is on a neutral ground [cup final etc] the submitting of the match result will be the responsibility of the winning side.
Penalties for failure to meet deadline:
£25 per offence.
MATCH TEAS:
Applicable to: all clubs
Host clubs must ensure that they supply sufficient refreshments (teas) for two complete teams, as well as for umpires, scorers, and coaches, if applicable. Clubs must respect the differing cultural diversities amongst participants when providing teas.
Penalties for failure to provide match teas:
£50 per match
USE OF COVERS:
Applicable to: Teams in Division Two and below.
Teams below D1 must let the league know if they do not intend to use covers.
Failure to inform the League Manager:
£25 penalty.
