In December 2024 the YPLN amalgamated with with the North & East Yorkshire Women & Girls Cricket League and the Scarborough and Ryedale Women & Girls Cricket League. Both of these leagues will be run and managed by their own seperate sub-committees with help from the main YPLN board in area such as safeguarding & EDI etc. 

 

As such, from 2025 YPLN will offer both softball and hardball opportunities for women and girls cricket teams.
