Following the limiting of the Senior Knockout to the top 16 teams in 1999, the family of the late 

Edward Readman of Bubwith donated a trophy in his memory to be competed for by the 

remaining clubs in the league. It was initially a 40 over competition but was re-launched in 2009 as 

a T20 competition with the semi-finals and final taking place on the same day. The Readman 

family give A memento each year to the player adjudicated as the Player of the Match. 

Since 2023 it has been a T20 competition for teams in the 1st Division.
