ADMINISTRATION PENALTIES - PLAYER REGISTRATION & TRANSFERS
PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF PLAY-CRICKET [not 'TMP']
Applicable to: Premier, Premier II & Championship.
By 10 April 2026 clubs with teams in the top three YPLN divisions [Premier, Premer II & Championship] must ensure that every player from their club who will compete in these divisions is a fully registered member on play-cricket.
Penalties for non compliance
Two league points will be deducted each time a non registered member makes a league appearance in 2026 and beyond.
UN-REGISTERED PLAYERS:
Applicable to: Premier, Premier II & Championship.
All players must be correctly registered online via play-cricket before playing in a league or cup match. Full details are available in a separate document ‘Player Registrations & Transfers’.
Penalties for non compliance:
£50 per offence
UN-REGISTERED PLAYERS:
Applicable to: Division One & Below
All players must be correctly registered online via play-cricket within 48 hours of playing in a league or cup match. This does not apply to players transferred from other clubs who must be correctly registered prior to playing. Full details are available in a separate document ‘Player Registrations & Transfers’
Penalties for non compliance:
£25 per offence
INELIGIBLE PLAYER:
Applicable to: All clubs
A team found to be playing an ineligible player shall be deducted all points gained in the games played by the said player, with the match (s) being awarded to the opposition. In the event of the match being a cup ties the match will be awarded to the opposition.
Penalties for non compliance:
All league points gained in match plus a further 10 deducted. Opposition awarded winning points
