ADMINISTRATION PENALTIES - MINIMUM STANDARDS
Minimum standards are part of the YPLN League Rules, and any breach of them carries sanctions as with the failure to meet other rule requiremnts.

Applicable to all clubs, the Management Board will review any club that fails to meet the League’s minimum standards. These include, but are not limited to, facilities, ground marking, disciplinary record, and administrative performance—for example, failure to have three junior sides playing hardball cricket, or failure to have in place the required number of sightscreens.

Where standards are not met, clubs will be required to submit an action plan by a date set by the League and must work collaboratively with the League to address and improve any shortcomings. Penalties will be applied where appropriate, and continued failure to meet the League’s requirements may ultimately result in termination of League membership.

Breaches of the League’s Minimum Standards will be dealt with by the League Disciplinary Team as summary offences. Each case will be considered on its own merits, taking into account the nature and context of the breach. For example, genuine errors will be treated proportionately; however, failure to confirm compliance when requested will result in sanctions, which may include league points deductions and financial penalties.

Clubs retain the right of appeal.
