Appointments will be sent to Captains early in the week through Whos The Umpire - all Captains need to be registered on WTU. 

33.5 Captains Marks - ECB Premier Division. Clubs and teams are required to ensure that the marking of grounds and umpires via ‘Who’s the umpire’ is undertaken by the team captain or a responsible person using the appropriate guidelines by 17.00 on the Tuesday following the match. 

The responsible person needs to have been at the game!

33.6 Captains Marks - ECB Premier II & Below. Clubs and teams are required to ensure that the marking of grounds and umpires (where appropriate) via play-cricket is undertaken by the team captain or a responsible person using the appropriate guidelines by 17.00 on the Tuesday following the match. 

The responsible person needs to have been at the game!

Home clubs need to supply a qualified/DBS checked umpire for all Home Fixtures - the named umpire needs to be a member of play-cricket and this needs to be added to the scorecard by the scorer on the day of the game - please. 

33.4 Scorers & Umpires. All clubs are required to ensure that the name of both scorers and both umpires are named on each and every scorecard. If there is not a scorer or umpire present add in either / or no umpire present or nor scorer present.

31.3 In Division 1 and below, each club will be responsible for providing a non-playing umpire for each match and must satisfy themselves as to the ability of such umpires. Such umpires will umpire for the whole match. 

31.4 In Division 1, if only one team provides a non-playing umpire then that team can decide whether or not their umpire acts as the bowler's end umpire for the entire match, and the other team must accept their decision. This decision cannot be reversed once the match starts. If the sole non-playing umpire does act as the bowler's end umpire for the entire match then the team that has not provided a non-playing umpire must pay a minimum of £25 [though paying half the umpire's fee, if greater, is strongly encouraged], before the match starts, to the team that has provided a non-playing umpire. However, if the sole non-playing umpire does not act as the bowler's end umpire for the entire match then no such payment is required. Either way, players from the batting team will act as the other umpire. 

31.5 In Division 2 & below, if only one team provides a non-playing umpire, the captains must reach agreement as to whether that umpire will act as the bowler's end umpire for the whole match, or remain at one end. This decision may not be changed once the match starts by either captain. Either way, players from the batting team will act as the other umpire. Teams are strongly encouraged to reach a fair agreement regarding any sharing of costs. 

Cup Matches - T20 Blast, T20 Plate, Championship Cup, Hundred Cup 

David Ward (T20 Blast only) and Matt Harris (remaining cups) will appoint 2 umpires for these Cup Fixtures 

Cup Matches - Hundred Plate, Readman, Conner, Wilberfoss and Midgley 

Matt Harris will appoint 2 umpires for the Finals only
