IMPORTANT REMINDERS 
Below are a snapshot of requirements as per the league rules. They are are by no means the full list! Club officials should check the league rules at all times. 
All club CSO's, Captains, and Officials should make themeleves aware of League Rule11.8 regarding the Safeguarding of Scorers 
Teams in ECB Premier Division 
Teams are required to ensure that the marking of grounds and umpires via ‘Who’s the umpire’ is undertaken by the team captain or a responsible person using the appropriate guidelines by 17.00 on the Tuesday following the match 
Teams already in ECB Premier who who do not have three junior teams playing hardball cricket in an ECB recognised junior league will be relegated into a divison where they meet the criteria at the earliest opportunity. 
All club CSO's, Captains, and Officials should make themeleves aware of League Rule11.8 regarding the Safeguarding of Scorers
By 10 April 2026 clubs with teams in the Premier Division must ensure that every player from their club who will compete in these divisions is a fully registered member on play-cricket. In basic terms this means no 'TMP' players can be on scorecards in this division. Click here 
By 31st March 2026. As a minimum - Clubs must have a designated Lead Activator for Girls’ Cricket, ideally someone relatable to young female players. As a minimum - Clubs must have a girls section in place. 
By 31st October 2026. Clubs must have played a minimum of one Girls fixture indoor or outdoor, softball or hardball, competitive or friendly recorded on play-cricket by 31st October 2026. Thereafter, any club failing to meet the girls’ playing offer requirements will be ineligible to play in the two 1st XI divisions of an ECB Premier League. 
Teams in ECB Premier Division II 
Teams already in Premier II who who do not have three junior teams playing hardball cricket in an ECB recognised junior league will be relegated into a divison where they meet the criteria at the earliest opportunity.

Teams wishing to be promoted from the Championship to ECB Premier Division Two must have a minimum of three junior teams [this can include girls teams playing hardball cricket in an YCF recognised junior cricket league] playing hardball cricket in an ECB recognised junior cricket league. Teams failing to meet this criteria will not be promoted.

Teams wishing to be promoted from Division One to the Championship must have a minimum of three junior teams [this can include girls teams playing hardball cricket in an YCF recognised junior cricket league] playing hardball cricket in an ECB recognised junior cricket league. Teams failing to meet this criteria will not be promoted.
