Conceded league matches
Any team that concedes 3 or more league matches (including the Holderness Div 3/4 Cup etc) will be prohibited from entering the main YPLN cups in the following year.
Conceded cup matches
In the event of a team conceding a cup match the following penalties will apply, unless the Cup Manager determines that a different penalty is justified. The penalties below shall also apply in situations where a team has not conceded, but refuses to engage positively in arranging a cup fixture to such an extent that the Cup Manager eliminates them from the cup.
In addition to the penalties listed below, concessions that occur after 6pm the previous day will incur compensation payments to the other team (see league “Schedule of Administrative Penalties” at https://www.yplncricket.co.uk/general-information/).
Premier Division T20 Blast, Premier Division 2 T20 Plate
Concessions at Group Day stage: The team will be unable to enter any YPLN cup competition in the following year and will be required to pay £200 compensation for lost match day revenue to the host club.
Concessions at Finals Day stage: The team will be unable to enter any YPLN cup competition in the following two years and will be required to pay £200 compensation for lost match day revenue to the host club.
Hundred Cup, Championship Cup, Readman Trophy, Hundred Plate, Dave Conner Trophy, Wilberfoss Cup, Midgley Cup
Concessions before the semi-final round: If the team has also conceded a cup match in the previous three seasons then they will be unable to enter any YPLN cup competition in the following year. The same penalty will apply if a team concedes matches in two separate cups in the same year.
Concessions in semi-final round (except for cups which have a Finals Day): The team will be unable to enter any YPLN cup competition in the following year.
Concessions at final (or Finals Day for cups which have one): The team will be unable to enter any YPLN cup competition in the following two years and will be required to pay £200 compensation for lost match day revenue to the host club.
Note: Teams prohibited from entering YPLN cups will still be able to participate in "Saturday cups", such as the Holderness Div 3/4 Cup, in divisions where such cups exist.
